Remote Appearance Requirements
Review the procedures for a remote appearance for your type of hearing. You may need to file a request and notice opposing parties prior to obtaining the remote appearance link from the court.

Request Remote Hearing Link
After noticing opposing parties, you may request a link for the remote hearing here. Include your name, case number and time/date of your appearance.
A clerk will contact you with the remote access information.
Remote Appearance Process

Before the Hearing
- An email invitation will be sent with the Meeting ID, the Password, and the dial-in number. Contact the court or your attorney if you do not receive this information.
Day of the Hearing
- If you do not get an invitation, contact the court or your attorney.
- Ensure your video and audio are working properly, and that your device is plugged in or fully charged.
- Dress appropriately as you would for an in-person court appearance.
- You must be in a private, quiet location, without disruptions or distractions. You may not appear from a moving vehicle or from bed.
- Join the hearing at least five minutes before your scheduled time. You may be placed in a waiting room before being admitted.
During the Hearing
- Upon entering the meeting, type your full name for proper identification.
- When the court is ready, you will be admitted into the hearing.
- Mute your microphone unless speaking.
- You may not record or broadcast except if in compliance with California Rules of Court, rule 1.150.
